About the Sons
The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) exists to honor the service and sacrifice of veterans by continuing their legacy of service. Open to male descendants of veterans, the SAL supports post programs, assists veterans and their families, and strengthens the bond between generations.
Post 288's Sons are an active part of post life — volunteering, participating in events, and helping ensure the post's mission carries on for years to come.
Eligibility
Male descendants — sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, stepsons, and adopted sons — of veterans eligible for American Legion membership, living or deceased.
